  • Calamity Jane
    Dirty Secret
    Josephine of the Swamps
    Mighty Joe Moon
    Honey Don't Think
    Lily-a-Passion
    Love's a Mystery
    Far End of the Night
    See America
    The Hook
    Truly Truly
    Mona Lisa
    Wish I Knew
    Hickory Wind
    Drunken Angel
    Fuzzy
    (encore)
    Stars n' Stripes
    Mockingbirds
    Happiness
    Lone Star Song
    The Shining Hour

This show was great. I am not a fan of "Virginia Creeper"-it was with this album that GLP crossed the line into full-on-folk-mode. That kind of music is just not my cup of chai. However, the album tracks, of which a lot were aired this night, came alive in a way that was a lot more palatable to my ears. Most songs were a bit crunchier, and the addition of support act, the Section Quartet, on some numbers also improved things. The first half of the set was especially tight-the run from Calamity Jane through to Truly Truly. I felt the set went a bit flat from Mona Lisa through the pair of cover versions, but picked up again very well for the encore. Overall, another cracking show from the Phillips fella.

  • The wife and I really enjoyed this show, maybe it's my imagination but I seem to remember Dixie Drug Store being in there somewhere.

I'm pretty sure it's your imagination, mate. It's not on the tracklisting, but I'll play the show through soon and double check. I'm pretty sure it wasn't played. My copy of the show is complete, so if it ain't there, it wasn't played!

  • Lone Star Song is introduced at this show as "here's something from the dusty songbook of ye olde Buffalo!"
